My name is Kiroun Tom, and I am the Founder, Owner, and Head Coach of KT Baseball Development. My baseball journey began with Ogden City Recreation, where I played from seventh through ninth grade. I later continued playing baseball at Ben Lomond High School.
After graduating from high school, I began coaching youth baseball and quickly discovered how much I enjoy helping young athletes learn, improve, and build confidence. I have experience coaching pitchers, catchers, infielders, and outfielders. My instruction focuses on hitting, pitching and throwing mechanics, catching fundamentals, defensive footwork, fielding techniques, position responsibilities, base running, game awareness, communication, teamwork, and confidence.
My experience as both a player and coach has taught me the importance of strong fundamentals, discipline, teamwork, encouragement, sportsmanship, and respect for the game. I understand that every athlete develops differently, so I adjust my coaching approach according to each player’s age, experience, abilities, position, development needs, and individual goals.
I founded KT Baseball Development to provide positive, affordable, and age-appropriate instruction for baseball players ages 6–16. My goal is to help every athlete become a more confident player, dependable teammate, and disciplined individual while developing a stronger understanding of and genuine love for baseball.
Our mission is to provide positive, affordable, and development-focused baseball instruction that helps young athletes strengthen their fundamentals, confidence, discipline, teamwork, and love for the game.
